Population genomics
Webgenomic sequencing technologies, such as WGS, requires a comprehensive and accurate estimation of all costs involved in the sequencing workflow. In this study, the total cost per WGS-trio was $8053.10 (95% CI: 7699.30, 8558.10). Supply costs accounted for the largest proportion of costs followed by the costs of bioinformatics. WebOct 1, 2001 · Population genomics, the large-scale comparison of DNA sequences, is now beginning to provide new insights in these areas. We review some of the general patterns of human genetic variation, and we show how our knowledge of these patterns can aid in the mapping and cloning of disease-causing genes.
